You are a Red Cross donor and your support for us is vital. It allows us to respond rapidly in a professional and humane way to the needs of the most vulnerable. To prevent, aid, and reconstruct: this is the essence of our operation. The funds collected through your generosity are given first and foremost to the weakest among us.
Each euro counts and must be converted into humanitarian activities. It is our duty to keep you informed of the evolution of our projects and to assure you that your gifts will be allocated to the most urgent, priority cases. The Red Cross Newsletter and the Sponsor’s Newsletter will keep you up to date, every three months, with our activities.
Information comes at a cost, however. In order to reduce costs, you can be kept informed through e-mail. Interested?
Make a donation
There are different ways of financially supporting the Belgian Red Cross:

>> You can become a sponsor
>> You can complete the standing order form
>> You can consider a legacy or donation
The Red Cross has two account numbers:
- General account: 096-0000300-30
- Emergency account: 000-0000025-25
Receive a tax attestation
If all your gifts in one year total the minimum amount set by the Finance Ministry, namely €30, you will receive a tax attestation. It will be sent to you by post in March 2007 if your gifts add up to at least €30 for your tax declarations for 2006.
